This contemporary corner development adopts a bold four storey form whilst incorporating tapered setbacks. It combines a series of finishes and face brick to create a modern architectural form that is respectful of the older surrounding housing stock.

St Georges Road, Northcote

  |  Date: June 22, 2015

This site benefits from a main road location where increased building heights are encouraged and a corner location with an outlook towards an opposite reserve. The development maximises these opportunities whilst incorporating tapered setbacks from the side and rear boundaries to reduce visual impact. The ground floor components are partially elevated to achieve the appropriate balance between creating an active presentation to the streetscape and ensuring adequate levels of privacy are provided for the ground level apartments with street frontages.
