With the pressure brought upon by insufficient housing being developed to cater for the nation’s rising population, we need to think laterally to ensure that those in society whom are vulnerable and need help are not passed by and forgotten.
Our office recently supported the Mallacoota District Health Support Service by navigating the planning process to secure a permit for much-needed community housing in Mallacoota with the approval of supported accommodation housing.
Navigating various planning provisions including vegetation and bush fire overlays and working closely with the Gippsland Shire, the project team stayed focused on the objective of facilitating a vital community facility that will make a difference to the community.
We look forward to the social housing coming to fruition.
